Get answers to common questions about Shoulder Wax – 15 Min.

Most clients enjoy smooth shoulders for about three to six weeks. Timing varies with individual hair growth cycles, hormones, and how often you wax. Regular waxing can extend the hair-free period and lead to softer, sparser regrowth over time.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on sensitive skin, but the procedure is quick. Skilled technicians use proper technique and soothing products to minimize pain. Over time many clients report reduced sensitivity with repeated waxing sessions.

Ensure hair is about a quarter inch long for effective removal. Avoid heavy tanning, exfoliate gently a day before, skip lotions or oils on the day of service, and come with clean, dry skin to get the best results.

We generally recommend scheduling every three to six weeks depending on your personal hair growth. Track how long regrowth takes for you and book accordingly to maintain a consistently groomed appearance.

If you recently shaved, you'll typically need to wait until hair is about a quarter inch long (usually 2–3 weeks) for waxing to be effective. Trimming is fine as long as the hair meets the minimum length requirement.

Avoid sun exposure, hot baths, saunas, and intense workouts for 24–48 hours. Apply a gentle soothing lotion or aloe and exfoliate lightly after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and maintain smooth skin.
