Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Dermaplaning Facial with Enzyme/Peel – 90 Min.

Most clients experience little to no pain; dermaplaning is gentle and the enzyme/peel is customized to your skin. You may feel mild tingling during the peel, but we monitor comfort and adjust strength as needed.

You can usually apply mineral makeup the same day, but we recommend waiting 24 hours for full protection and to allow the skin barrier to calm, especially after a chemical peel component.

Ideal candidates have dullness, uneven texture, fine vellus hair or clogged pores. Not recommended for active acne, open sores, or certain skin conditions; consult our esthetician for a tailored assessment.

Temporary redness, sensitivity, or slight flaking from the peel can occur. These usually subside within days with proper aftercare and our calming serums and hydration masks to support recovery.

We suggest treatments every 4–6 weeks for consistent exfoliation and maintenance, though frequency may vary based on skin goals and type; your esthetician will recommend an individualized plan.

Avoid direct sun, harsh exfoliants, and retinoids for at least 72 hours. Use gentle cleansers, broad‑spectrum SPF daily, and the soothing serums we recommend to protect and strengthen your skin barrier.
